On April 12th at 2PM a group of students from the University of Pittsburgh visited OPPLE’s Wujiang facilities as part of a two week Global Supply Chain and China tour. The group was led by The Asia Institute, an education platform that strives to connect Asia with the rest of the world through a partnership network connecting the four key sectors of society.
The group was warmly welcomed by an OPPLE team and had the opportunity to ask questions about company operations and the lighting industry at large. Tours of company R&D and factory facilities were led by OPPLE experts, giving the students a look inside the development and execution of good lighting.
Judy Zhu provided an in-depth explanation of the operations behind OPPLE’s state-of-the-art factory and Deng ShiTao provided insights behind the R&D process. This event gave OPPLE an opportunity to expose young, foreign students to OPPLE’s innovativeness and brand.
