OPPLE took part in the 2014 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, China’s premiere B2B lighting event. The exhibition saw great turnout with over 2,300 participants. Most Chinese and international industry leaders were present at the event.
The event served as a stage for OPPLE to showcase a new LED portfolio consisting of several innovative and exciting products. One that stood out amongst the crowd was a color-changing, dimmable luminaire capable of setting the mood in any environment.
Event attendees commented on how impressed they were with OPPLE’s ability to quickly take a project from concept to production. OPPLE’s significant investment in automation has made this rapid turnover possible and offered a competitive edge that equates to below average production times.
The Shining Moon luminaire was the recipient of an Aladdin Award, a testament to OPPLE’s design. The award is only given to the top ten products shown at the event. This luminaire features an elegant, minimalist design and allows users to adjust the warmth of the light its projects, creating an appropriate atmosphere for different occasions.
OPPLE CTO ZiXiaoming spoke to reporters at the event about the technical feats of the company, emphasizing the importance of quality control, R&D, and supply chain management. He went on discuss OPPLE’s commitment to a variety of market segments stating, “Home lighting products are now a key priority at OPPLE. Additionally, OPPLE will continue to put efforts into professional lighting, such as office lighting, hospitality lighting, outlet lighting and so forth.”
